TEXAS REVOLUTION TEST
The Alamo Project 2/22-2/23
Students will create a Google Slides illustrating the significance of one of the individuals at the Battle of the Alamo.
Slides must be a minimum of 6 slides. Please make sure to use dates when possible and include the following vocabulary terms: Siege, Revolution, Reinforcements, Independence
Each slide must contain 2-3 complete sentences and a picture.
Slide 1: Title of project, name of individual, your name, class period, picture
Slide 2: Summarize the 13 day siege at the Alamo. How many casualties from each side (how many people died). Why were they fighting at the Alamo?
Slide 3: Where is your individual from? Why were they in Texas? What was their life before the Battle of the Alamo?
Slide 4: What was their significance at the Alamo?
Slide 5: What happened to them at the Alamo? If they survived, what did they do after the Texas Revolution ended?
Slide 6: How did the Texas Revolution end? Where was the final battle? Who was victorious? Why do you think that is?

Overview: These units cover the road to the Texas Revolution. It also covers the events leading up to the Revolution, as well as the aftermath and years that Texas was a country of its own.
